About me

The Heart Behind My Work

I am a multi-championship athlete, professor, author, and mind–gut expert dedicated to helping people break through anxiety and reach their full potential. For more than 25 years, I’ve guided athletes and adults using a unique approach that goes far beyond the “try harder” mindset. My work blends mindset, nutrition, stress mastery, and practical tools that create real, lasting change. In my new book, Your Good Is Good Enough, I share the lessons and methods that have transformed countless lives—including my own.

My journey

I didn’t become a professor, athlete, and mentor by following an easy path. My life has been shaped by pressure, expectation, competition, and the constant search for balance. Every achievement and every setback taught me something valuable about the mind, the body, and the emotional patterns that hold us back. These lessons became the foundation of the work I do today.

What I believe

I believe people don’t need to be pushed harder—they need to understand themselves better. Growth happens when we stop chasing perfection and start listening to what our body, mind, and inner voice are trying to tell us. My approach is simple: clarity over pressure, understanding over force, presence over anxiety.

How I work

My methods combine science, lived experience, and practical tools anyone can use. I blend mindset training, stress and anxiety mastery, nutrition, and individualized strategies that help you perform at your highest level without losing yourself in the process. Whether I’m working with athletes, students, or adults in transition, my focus is always the same: real, lasting change.

What I teach

For many years, I watched people struggle with the same problem: feeling “not enough.” I have lived that experience myself. Breaking free from perfectionism changed my life—and now I help others do the same. Teaching is my way of giving back the clarity and confidence I fought to earn.

What You can expect from me

I don’t offer quick fixes or empty motivation. Instead, I give you grounded guidance, honest insights, and practical steps that actually work in real life. My goal is to help you understand your patterns, trust your abilities, and move forward with purpose and strength.

The mission today

My mission is simple: show you that you already have more power, potential, and brilliance than you think. With the right tools and a deeper understanding of yourself, you can live, perform, and grow with confidence—without the pressure to be perfect.
